DYGA, MR. MAX E. Belmont, MI formerly of Muskegon, MI Mr. Max E. Dyga, age 79, died Thursday, October 31, 2002 in Battle Creek, MI. He was born in Muskegon, MI on October 12, 1923 to John & Sophia Hollebeck Dyga & married the former Vida D. Pacillo in Muskegon, MI on February 22, 1952. A U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Dyga served during WWII in the South Pacific Theatre. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI & had been employed as a District Manager at Curtis Industries. Mr. Dyga was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, VFW & enjoyed golf, travel & sports. SURVIVORS Son, Max Natalia Dyga of Belmont, MI; 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas & Stefanie; a sister, Helen Miesch of Muskegon, MI; 2 brothers, Edward Dyga of Muskegon, MI & Leo Margie Dyga of Temperance, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vida on August 3, 1999 & by a sister, Albina Davis. FUNERAL MASS Thursday, November 7, 2002, 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Brown officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery with a Veteran's committal under the auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans.
