Johnson, Maureen Bonita North Muskegon, Michigan On March 26, 2022 Maureen Morehouse Johnson joined our father in heaven. She was born in International Falls, MN on April 27, 1932 to Charles & Silvia (Garrison) Morehouse. She was the eldest of 3 girls being raised in Northern Minnesota and the Twin Cities area. She married Donald H. Johnson on May 2, 1951 and they raised three children and moved to Owatonna, Minnesota where Maureen volunteered as a nurse's aid at Owatonna High School and helped with the vision and hearing testing. She was a realtor, an avid Bridge player and loved to play golf. She was Pesident and involved with her Gormet Group. In 1985 they moved to Muskegon Michigan where Maureen became very involved in the Arts. She was President of the Board for the West Shore Symphony, a volunteer Docent at the Muskegon Museum of Art, belonged to the Women's Club, Service League, PEO and numerous other organizations. Later she and her husband retired to Florida and then Texas. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. Maureen was the most loving, giving and sweetest person. She will be greatly missed. Heaven gained a beautiful Angel. SURVIVORS Maureen is survived by sons Bruce (Sue) Johnson of Rochester, MN, and David (Kandy) Johnson of Houston, TX, daughter Teri (Courtney) Gust of North Muskegon, grand children Kim (Kevin) Lang, Brian (Megan) Johnson, Kelly (Nick) Darcort, Kasey Myhro, Joshua (Amanda) Johnson, Gabriel (Wendy) Johnson, Mike (Abby) Wargo, Ryan (Heather) Wargo, Brett (Allison) Koch, Cameron (Ashlee) Gust, Carter Gust; great- grandchildren Kendall Jansen, Cash Johnson, Adian Darcort, Noah Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, Dagan Johnson, Evan Johnson, Genevieve Koch, Olivia Koch, Paul Koch and Georgia Gust; sisters Holly Vowels and Chucky Knutson and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband Donald Johnson, mother Silvia Morehouse and father Charles Morehouse. SERVICE A private family service will be held. MEMORIAL: Horbor Hospice.
