Mattie Schaub

Mrs. Mattie O. Schaub, age 89, died Thursday, December 8, 2011. She was born in Petosky, MI on September 29, 1922 to Grover & Mattie (Yell) Lybarker and married Clifford Schaub on June 5, 1940. Mrs. Schaub had been a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Mrs. Schaub enjoyed her children & grandchildren, fishing, camping and her flower gardens. SURVIVORS Daughters, Janet (Nick) Plichta, Rita (Ralph) Taylor, Karen (John) Davis; sons, David (Janice) Schaub, Dale Schaub; 33 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; daughter-in-law, Dolores Schaub. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford on July 7, 2000; son, Larry; 3 grandchildren, Dale Schaub II, William & Kimberly Keely; 1 brother; 5 sisters. SERVICE A private funeral mass was held at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Pelak officiating. Interment at Fruitland Township Cemetery.
