Matthew Miller

Mr. Matthew Alan "Matt" Miller, age 51, passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends Sunday, February 7, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 3, 1965 to Ivan & Doris (Gannon) Miller and married the former Vickie Rumsey on October 11, 2003. Matt had been employed as the Zoning Administrator for the City of Montague for 18 years. He enjoyed golf, concerts, traveling, sunsets on Lake Michigan, walking his dog in the woods, listening to Tiger baseball at his fire pit and Michigan football. He was a tremendously loving husband and loyal friend and will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife, Vickie; siblings, Mike (Karen) Miller, Gail (John) Keller, Steve Miller, Leta (Craig) Updegraff; aunt & uncle, Marge & Jim Gannon; mother-in-law, Martha Rumsey; brother-in-law, Edward Rumsey; sisters-in-law, Daniela (Mike) Whitenack, Charlotte Kenyon, Patricia (Dennis) Thompson, Laura (Jeff) Cooper; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends; special friends, "The Marauder's"; cat, Biscuit & dog, Stella. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE Thursday, February 11, 2016, 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. James Catholic Church in Montague with Fr.
