Mary Anne Volkmann, age 74, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025. She was born in Muskegon, MI on July 22, 1950 to James & Verna (Hoppi) Keat, graduated from Muskegon High School in 1968 and was a lifelong Big Red fan. She married Donald Volkmann on September 2, 1977. Mary Anne had worked at the Henry Street Meijer in the Marking Room for 31 years until retiring. She liked to go for walks and working in the garden growing flowers. She also loved to read, especially horror and thriller novels and was a lover of all animals, having multiple dogs and cats through the years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

husband Donald Volkmann; son Stephen (Sherrie) Fisher; daughters, Leah (Robert) Sandore, Jillian (Matthew Schmitt) Volkmann; grand children, Jake (Allston) Fisher, Lillian Fisher, Lane Fisher, Zachary (Maggie) Romer, Kyle (Raegan) Romer, Quinn Bernal, Kian Voss; great grandchildren, Jovi, Mia, Colton, Cayson; sister Cindy Zielinski.
