Mary Seifert

Mrs. Mary L. Seifert, age 83, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at home. She was born in Muskegon, MI on October 27, 1927 to Frank & Jesse (Storms) Steiner and married Donald Seifert on August 19, 1950. Mrs. Seifert had graduated from Western Michigan University with her teaching degree. She was a member of First Congregational Church UCC, the P.E.O. Service League and the Muskegon Country Club. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed golfing and her Bridge Club. SURVIVORS Husband of 61 years, Donald; son, Bruce Seifert of Delaware; daughter, Sherry (Stephen Way) Seifert of Muskegon; grandchildren, Danny, Mary Cate, Tori, D.J., Catherine, Quinn, Chelsea, Kyle, Brett, Brenna; 9 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews; She was preceded in death by her grandson, Patrick Colin; sisters, Helen brother, Jim. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, October 14, 2011, 11:00 AM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at First Congregational Church United Church of Christ with Rev. Timothy D. Vander Haar & Rev. Donald Mathews officiating.
