Mary Grace Schwass

Schwass, Mary Grace Zeeland, Michigan Mary Grace Schwass, age 103, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020. She was born in Flint, MI on September 27, 1917 to Harvey & Lottie (Johnston) Morse and married Harry Richard Schwass on June 29, 1940. Mary Grace had been employed as a secretary for a local bank, Muskegon Chamber of Commerce and Lakeside Department Store. Mary Grace was a member of McGraft Congregational Church & an active Guild member. After retiring she enjoyed volunteering at Hackley Hospital as a greeter, and loved to travel. SURVIVORS Children, James (Linda) Schwass & Joanne Lamar(Canfield); 4 grandchildren, Aaron (Carolina) Schwass, Adam ( Jill) Schwass, Kim (Bob)Wackernagel & Jeffrey(Wanda) Canfield; 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Schwass in 1983 and her siblings. SERVICE Due to Covid-19 a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
