Mary Lou Reed

Mrs. Mary Lou Reed, age 80, died Thursday, September 24, 2009. She was born in Muskegon, MI on June 22, 1929 to Albert & Johanna (Kartes) Rice and married Jack E. Reed on February 11, 1949. Mrs. Reed had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Muskegon Skating Club and a lifetime member of the Mona Lake Boat Club. SURVIVORS Son, Scott (Heather) Reed of Muskegon; daughters, Mary Ann (Richard) Smith of Muskegon, Susan (David) Macuch of KY, Pamela (Chet) Sobolewski of Muskegon, Jackie Patterson of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 32 step grandchildren; brother, Robert Rice of WI; sister, Roberta (Russell) Staple of N. Muskegon & many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack in 1978.
