Mary Polakis

Mrs. Mary Polakis, age 85, passed away Friday February 15, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born June 11, 1922 in Chicago, IL. Mary married Alec Polakis on July 15, 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskegon, MI. He preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Polakis was a clerk at St. Joseph Credit Union for many years retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church then joined St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mrs. Polakis is survived by 4 sons, John (Carol) Polakis of Wyoming, MI, Paul (Lisa) Polakis of San Francisco, CA, Ed (Kim) Polakis of N. Muskegon, MI, and Thomas (Jennifer) Polakis of Phoenix, AZ; 1 daughter, Mary Anne (Larry) Zurn of Ft. Meyers, FL; 5 grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, Jack, Ruby and Mary.
