Mary Mclaury

Mary E. McLaury, age 91, long time resident of Michigan Center, passed away in Muskegon, MI on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Orville; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa (Doug) Freye; grandson, Jonathon Freye; sister-in-law, Beatrice Dodge; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, G. W. and Lena Sanford; siblings (and their spouses), Dorothy Sanford, Barbara (Al) Shannon, Kenneth (Phoebe) Sanford; in-laws, Clifford Dodge and Carl (Vera) McLaury. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, 361 E. Grove in Michigan Center on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:30 am with Matthew Shannon officiating. Her family will greet friends at the church beginning at 10:30 am. Interment will take place at Woodland Glade Cemetery on Bois Blanc Island. For those who wish, contributions in Mary's memory may be given to the Michigan Center Community Scholarship Fund, 400 S.
