Mary Agnes Kohnke

Ms. Mary Agnes Kohnke, age 88, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016. She was born in Holland, MI on April 23, 1927 to Frank & Agnes (Fitzpatrick) Zant. Ms. Kohnke had been employed as a cook for Paw Paw Patch and Shore Haven Nursing Home until retiring in 1992. Mary was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and loved her family very much. SURVIVORS Sons, John DeKraker of Grand Haven, Mark DeKraker of Grand Haven; James (Sherrie) DeKraker of NM, Bob (Peggy) Kohnke of Norton Shores; daughter, Jan (James) Grubb of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Matt, Steve, Kristy, Ryan, Mary (Matt) Hartman & Alicia; special great grandson, Brayden Hartman; brother, Ron (Phyllis) Zant of Muskegon; former husband, Robert Kohnke of Fruitport; special nieces and nephew, MaryAnn (Bob) Kerridge, Caren Fann, Cindy (Steve) Rosso, Donna Chittenden, Jimmy (Angie) Brown. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester and son, Michael "Jake" DeKraker. SERVICE Private services will be held. Interment in Lake Forest Cemetery.
