Mary Kathleen Jamieson

Jamieson, Mrs Mary Kathleen Muskegon, Michigan Mrs. Mary Kathleen Jamieson, age 65, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on April 20, 1955 to William & Margaret (McDermott) Mulvihill. Mary attended the International School in Geneva, Switzerland, graduated from Seaholm High School in Birmingham, MI and studied at Oakland University where she met John Jamieson, whom she married on December 27, 1979. Mary acted in community theatre, trained as a pastry chef, and managed a European caf in Wilmette, IL for several years. In 1999 she became a realtor with Nedeau and later Coldwell Banker, until retirement in 2020. Mary was a member of the Greater Muskegon Woman's Club, Women's Division Chamber of Commerce, and Greater Muskegon Service League Group 6, and volunteered for Community enCompass. She worked tirelessly alongside her husband for the traditionalist cause in the Episcopal Church during the 1980s and early '90s. In her spare time she loved oil painting, playing the harpsichord, speaking fluent French, and reading classic novels. SURVIVORS Husband, T. John Jamieson; Siblings, Laurie (William) Cline, William Mulvihill Jr., Timothy (Erin) Mulvihill, Megan Mulvihill, Brigid Ladue, Amy Mulvihill, Kay Aurand, James (Barbara Parks) Mulvihill; seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret. REQUIEM MASS Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, 196 W. Webster Ave, Muskegon, MI 49440 with Rev. Fr. Ronald Floyd celebrating the Tridentine Rite. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery on Ash Wednesday at 11:00 AM. VISITATION Monday, February 15, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon with Devotions at 7:30 PM.
