Mrs. Mary Lee Houston, age 88, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2007, at a local nursing home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon, Thursday, January 3, 2008, from New Mount Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. James E. Witcher officiating. Interment: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Wednesday, 4pm-9pm, at the church. Mrs. Houston leaves in God's care 1 son, Donnie (Karen) Houston of Gilbert, AZ; 3 daughters, Margaret Morehead of Texarkana, AR, Odessa (David) Cross of Norton Shores, MI, and Shelia (Samuel) Billips of Muskegon Heights, MI; 1 sister, Odessa Hunter of Shreveport, LA; 1 brother-in-law, Joe Houston of Texarkana, AR; 24 grandchildren; 51 great-grand-children; and a host of other relatives, church family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Houston; 2 sons; 1 daughter; 2 brothers; and 1 great-grandson.
