Mary Jo Gerhart

Feisty, silly giving and slightly crazy. I will miss talking with her and laughing with her! I admire my mom for living her life her way. For never letting anyone else define her. She left this world the same way she lived in it. Mary Jo Gerhart leaves behind her only child, Becky Lynn (Joe) Brenan of Wells, NY; three grandchildren, Kyle, Konor and Kaeli Brenan, also of New York; several nieces and nephews of Michigan and friends that she considered family. My mom requested that those who love her please remember her privately, so no funeral services will be offered. Her remains will travel to New York where they will be placed in a Bio-Urn and planted with a Pine seed in my yard. My family is forever grateful for the love and care that Mary Jo received at Harbor Hospice Poppen House in her final months. I am personally indebted to my wonderful sister, Deb Hole, for being there when I was unable. Rest now mommy, Ill see you again! Phoenix Crematory Services
