Mary Lou Elder

Mrs. Mary Elder, age 65, died Friday, February 25, 2011. She was born in Cheboygan, MI on February 26, 1945 to Lester & Madeline Clear. She grew up in Levering, MI and graduated from Pellston Public Schools. She was a homemaker for 25 years and then went to work for Fruitport Public Schools until retiring. Mary was a wonderful & loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all and will be deeply missed. SURVIVORS Son, Jeffery Elder of Spring Lake; grandson, Dillon Hall of Allegan; 2 stepsons, Richard (Wendy) Elder of Norway, MI, Ronald (Gretchen) Elder of Grand Junction, MI; 6 brothers, Lester, Ed, Scott & Jeff, all of Levering, MI, Clarence (Patty) of Alanson, MI, Roger of Cheboygan; 3 sisters, Linda (Hugh) Smyth of Port Charlotte, FL, Bonnie (Jim) Marshall of Kingsley, Lucinda (Larry) Burkhart of Alanson; many nieces & nephews; 2 special friends, Karol Hierholzer, Sharon Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents. SERVICE A private family service will be held at a later date.
