Mary Jean Duell

DUELL, MRS. MARY JEAN North Muskegon Mrs. Mary Jean Duell, age 81, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004. She was born in Muskegon on January 20, 1923 to Leonard & Lucy Larabee Phillips and married Robert Lee Duell on February 8, 1940. Mrs. Duell was a homemaker. She was a member of the Northside Seniors and Serenaders, AARP, and the Concerned Hearts. She also assisted her husband with the Chronicle motor route for ten years. SURVIVORS 4 sons, Dale Judith Duell of Arkansas, Michael Barb Duell, Sr. of North Muskegon, Richard Hilda Duell of Montague and Albert Debra Duell of North Muskegon; 2 daughters Rosanne John Mayes of Hesperia and Millie Dave Papp of Holton; 1 daughter in law, Bonnie Duell of North Muskegon; 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Rose Fauble of Muskegon, Donna Fauble of North Muskegon, Marlene Harold Weaver of Muskegon, Beverly Crawford of Twin Lake and Wanda Terry Wantz of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1990, 1 son, Larry Duell in 1990, 3 brothers, Glenn, Marion and Leonard Phillips, 1 sister, Jeanette Fortin. Mary Jean's family wishes to thank Heartland Health Care-Whitehall for the wonderful care their mother received. SERVICE Friday, April 23, 2004, 10:30 AM at Clock Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Bremmer officiating. Interment at Twin Lake Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 7-9 PM and Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
