Mary S. Byrnes

Mrs. Mary S. Byrnes, age 84, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born January 25, 1924 to Valentine and Rose (Coglianese) Cioe in Muskegon and was a life resident. She had been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mary was married to Hugh Byrnes, and he preceded her in death in 1997. SURVIVORS include 1 brother, Charles L. Cioe of Norton Shores; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother, Lawrence Cioe. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 With Pastor Ben Jansen officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial please consider the Alzheimer's Association.
