Mary Bourgoin

Mrs. Mary A. Bourgoin, age 85, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, April 6, 2010. She was born in Hubbell, MI on November 27, 1924 to William & Veronica (Frenette) Hillenbrand and married Frank Bourgoin on June 26, 1943. Mrs. Bourgoin had been employed as a secretary in the Fruitport Public School System for 12 years until retiring in 1985. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an avid Big Band and dancing fan who enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafts & traveling. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Sons, Stephen Bourgoin of Alpena, Mark (Nora) Bourgoin of Cedar Springs; daughter, Mary Jo Bourgoin of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Chad (Alisha) Bergman, Erin (Jeff) Roberts, Jennifer (J.T. Vette) Hermiston, Erica (Dave) Haverland, Andrea Bourgoin, Sarah Bourgoin; great grandchildren, Logan, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Veronica, Gage, Charlotte, Claire; several nieces & nephews; special friends, Barb Holden, Lida Midalski, Louise (Richard) Smith, Peter Wynbelt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; 5 sisters & 2 brothers. SERVICE Friday, April 9, 2010, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Groshek officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 1 hour prior to the service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. MEMORIAL: American Cancer Society.
