Beckley, Mrs. Mary Martha Grand Haven, Michigan Mrs. Mary Beckley walked peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Her best friend and partner in crime, her loving husband Walt, was by her side as she left her earthly body. She fought a hard battle for a long time and was blessed by so many especially during her last few years. Mary was born to Frank and Martha (Schoonbeck) Meyers on July 28, 1942. She grew up with a love of the water and her special sisters. She lived in Ohio, Iowa and Michigan, and spent her summers growing up in Stony Lake, MI. She married Walt Beckley in Muskegon MI on January 15, 1965, and they remained best friends until she passed. SURVIVORS Mary is survived by her husband Walt, children Michelle (Todd Ballast) LeFaive of Spring Lake, MI, Matthew (Melissa) Beckley of Lithia, FL, and Wally Beckley of Fennville, MI. Also by her grandchildren Grant LeFaive, and Hannah, Dylan, Jonah, Miriam, Luke and Uriah Beckley. She is also survived by her sisters Kathleen (Bill) Ruiter, Paula (Tim Birtles) Meyers, and her sister and brother-in-law Roseann (Terry) Boeve and Sam (Dawn) Beckley. Many amazing nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved, and special friends Paul & Dorrie Phillips. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her parents-in law Orange Beckley and Anna Beckley, and her great niece Tatianna Robertson. The family is grateful to the staff at Riverside Nursing Home & Rehabilitation in Grand Haven for the thoughtful care Mary received in her final months.
