Martin Dempkey Sr.

Martin Marty James Dempkey Sr., 56, lost his battle to cancer on March 28, 2015. He was born March 10, 1959 to Doris and Garland Dempkey. Marty was always on the go and enjoyed the outdoors by hunting, fishing and camping. Martin most of all enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his grandkids. SURVIVORS Martin is survived by his beloved, Missy; fianc, Kimberly Crews; parents, Diane and Garland Dempkey; son, Martin Dempkey Jr. DJ; daughters, Jessica Deleon, Staci Dempkey, Erica and Trisha Crews; brothers, Robin, Garland, Allen Dempkey, Terry, Jeff, Jerry McAuley, Dennis Hogendyk; sisters, Brenda Genson, Pearl Bearman, Bobbi Schaub, Denise Hamather, Sharron Gregory, Susan Grinder, Lisa Cross; 6 grandchildren, Mariah, Ysmael, Chloe, Awbreana, Brooklyn and Thomas; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, Doris & Jerry McAuley, sister, Roxann Casler, Aunt Donna and granddaughter, Natalie Dempkey. SERVICE A Celebration of Martins life will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015, 2:00-5:00 PM at Park Meadows Community Hall, 210 E. Giles Rd., North Muskegon.
