Martin, Charlotte Anna

Mrs. Charlotte Anna Martin, age 73, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at a local hospital. Charlotte was born May 29, 1933 in Charlevoix County, MI, to Leslie Fay and Mary Maranda (Baumgartner) Hooker. She moved to this area in 1954 and had worked as a nurse's aide for many years prior to her retirement. Charlotte is SURVIVED by her 2 daughters, Dianna (Roger) Murphy of Montague, and Donna (David) Nelson of St. Paul MN; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Edna Louise McKenney of Muskegon, Mary King of Florida. She was preceded in death by her brother, Willard Joseph Hooker, and 2 sisters, Martha Earl and Rhea Peter. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 16, 2006 at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Pastor John Frank officiating. VISITATION will be an hour prior to the service. Interment will be made in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
