Martha Craigie

Mrs. Martha Ann Craigie, age 83, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016. She was born in Lansing , Michigan on June 13, 1933 to George & Martha (Draper) Dean and married Bernard Craigie on October 4, 1952. Mrs. Craigie had been employed as a Teacher at Reeths Puffer Elementary for 25 years until retirement. Martha was a member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, a Eucharistic minister and the ECE Choir. She enjoyed antiques, reading, extensive travels in their retirement years, cross stitch and gardening. SURVIVORS Sons, Kenneth (Jill Katz) Craigie, Bruce (Barbara Corradin) Craigie; daughter, Lenore Kuipers; grandchildren, Andrew Crosby, Brandon (Andrea) Crosby, Heather (Matthew) Reynolds, Geoffrey (Cassandra) Craigie, Sebastian Craigie, Grant Craigie, Ian Craigie; great grandchild, Haidyn Ann Crosby; brother-in-law, Thomas (Jane) Craigie II; sister-in-law, Janet Hill; many nieces & nephews and her beloved cat, Theo. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bernard "Bernie" on April 7, 2013. SERVICE Friday, September 9, 2016, Noon at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church with Pastor Chris Anderson officiating. Interment in Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Great Lakes Caring Hospice or St. Gregory's Episcopal Church.
