Martha Bruckbauer

Mrs. Martha A. Bruckbauer, age 82, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born September 23, 1924 in Ganges, MI to Fred and Fern (Goodrich) Robinson. Mrs. Bruchbauer was an inspector for Kaydon Corporation for over 22 years. Mrs. Bruckbauer loved cooking, bowling, and enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing; she was also an avid Tigers Fan! On July 11, 1946 she married Leonard Bruckbauer in Grand Haven, MI and he preceded her in death on September 3, 2000. SURVIVORS include 4 children; Robert Michael of Grand Haven, Linda Jeanne (Dick) Grinnell of Branch, MI, Franklin Paul (Nancy) of Muskegon, and Daniel P. of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; and 7 grea-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, John Bruckbauer, and a sister, Jenny Slotman. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Wednesday April 25, 2007 at the The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Rev. Dr. Gerald J. Wahr officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8PM Tuesday and an hour prior to the service. INTERMENT will be at Mona View Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS can be given to the American Cancer Society.
