Marshall R. "Pappy" Furgerson

Mr. Marshall R. "Pappy" Furgerson, age 77, passed away Wednesday, July 02, 2008 at home. He was born July 16, 1930 in Kentucky to the late Luther and Reva (Hackney) Furgerson. He was retired from Tridon Construction and Buck's Construction. Marshall is survived by his wife, Doris, of 21 years of marriage; children, Marsha (Bob) Middage, Dar (Les) Osborn, and Jeff (Sue) Furgerson; two step-children: Don (Nancy) Griswold and Cordie (Rick) Patterson; grandchildren: Bobby Middage, Sarah Zavits, Stacy Zavits, and Damon Griswold; and one brother, Jerry Furgerson, of Lincoln, NE. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 7th at 1:00 p.m. at VFW Post #7729, 6285 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon with luncheon following. Interment is in Egelston Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Marshall's family.
