Marlene Joyce Stephenson

Mrs. Marlene Stephenson, age 88, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born in Muskegon, MI on December 5, 1935, to Frank & Kathryn (Riddle) Stephenson. She married Robert L. Stephenson on June 18, 1955. Marlene for many years owned Creative Touch Floral Design. Later in life she worked at Oakridge Public Schools as a Playground Aide. She was a woman with many talents. Marlene enjoyed crafting, floral designing, gardening, cake decorating and going to the casino. To say she was an involved parent is an understatement. Marlene was a Den Mother for seven years when her boys were in the Cub Scouts.

Sons; Marc Stephenson, Brian (Sharron) Stephenson & Kevin (Denise) Stephenson; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Karen (Frank) Archer, Linda Darling & Maryann Stephenson; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Dorileen) Kelling & Dale (Betty) Darling; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents, and daughter-in-law Gertie Stephenson and her husband's siblings, Lois (Richard) DeVries, Sylvia (Neil) Fought, Marilyn (George) Colson, Wesley Stephenson, Jack (Nancy) Stephenson, Russell Stephenson.

SERVICE

A service will be held on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at 12:00 PM (noon) at Clock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with a reception following. The family will have a private burial afterwards.

VISITATION

A visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
