Mrs. Marlene K. Hagen, age 62, was born to Vernon L. and Myrtle R. (Morphew) McPheron on September 5, 1950. She married Terrell Terry Hagen on March 19, 1971. Marlene graduated from Fruitport High School in 1968 and attended Baker College. She retired from Fruitport High School in 2006 after 30 years in Food Service. She was a member of Word of Hope Church in Fruitport and enjoyed gardening, traveling and kayaking. The highlight of the year was walking the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day. But foremost was spending time with her family. SURVIVORS Husband of 42 years, Terrell; children, Troy (Cathy) Hagen of Muskegon and daughter, Kelly Huber of Muskegon; grandchildren, Melissa, Casi, Randy, AJ, Danny and Aidan:; great grandchild, Andrew; mother, Myrtle McPheron of Fruitport; brothers, Howard (Marie) Allen, Merlin (Naureen) McPheron, Vernon McPheron; sister, Lois (John Gibson) Mathews. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon L. and brother, Barry McPheron. SERVICE Saturday, May 11, 2013, 11:00 AM and visitation one hour prior to the service at Word of Hope Church in Fruitport with Rev. John Koedyker officiating. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
