Marlene Dewitt

Mrs. Marlene DeWitt, age 71, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009. She was born in Grand Haven, MI on April 29, 1937 to Paul & Margaret (Klop) VanTol and married Alan DeWitt on August 23, 1958. Mrs. DeWitt had been a homemaker who loved her family. She was a member of Second Reformed Church of Grand Haven. SURVIVORS Husband, Alan; daughters, Karen (Jeff) Urbanik of FL, Sarah (Daniel) Morrow of Ferrysburg, Vicki (William) Blake of TX; grandchildren, Drew Hunt, Nichole Hunt, Nicolas Diep, Mitchell Diep, Michael Diep, Mathew Diep, William Blake Jr; 1 great granddaughter, Brianna; brother, Paul (Effie) VanTol of Grand Haven; sister, Angenieta DeYoung of Grand Haven; mother-in-law, Gertrude DeWitt; brothers-in-law, Charles (Lou) DeWitt, Glen (Jennifer) DeWitt, Jerry (Ann) DeWitt. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Donn DeYoung & sister-in-law, Joyce DeWitt. SERVICE Friday, April 24, 2009, 7:00 PM at Second Reformed Church of Grand Haven with Rev. Mike VanKampen officiating. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 1 hour prior to the service at Second Reformed Church of Grand Haven. MEMORIAL: Hospice of North Ottawa.
