Mark Alan Richards Markie Mark Alan Richards has received his promotion from the chains of this world, into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus Christ.

Born three months early, April fools day 1985 to Alan and Linda Richards, his life started out physically hindered. A brain hemorrhage after birth tried to steal his life. But he was a fighter, and we prayed. God had a special plan for his life that most might not understand. He was called to lay his life down, literally. He could not walk or communicate well enough where others could understand. Mom and I could. Mom also gave her life for him 100%. I watched in amazement as she tenderly met his needs, held his hand, and always had sweet words to comfort him through the difficult times. Several setbacks over the years took their toll. But through it all Mark fought, and found joy, laughter, and peace that passes all understanding.

Anyone who entered our home encountered Mark in the living room. Seems if they had a poor me moment, that would fall silent rather quickly. Mark gave glory to God through his willingness to endure his condition through God's strength for 40 years. Many care takers, nurses, agency employees, doctors, and the many who helped along the way are angels to us. And they might say wow, look what God did with Mark. Linda, myself and surely our son are eternally grateful.

Thank you to our extended family, prayer warriors, and body of Christ that brought our needs before our merciful heavenly Father. His grace is sufficient and we long to see Mark walk, talk and run in glory. There will be no formal service or gathering.
