Mark G Huebner

Mr. Mark "Thumper" Gordon Huebner, age 69, passed away Tuesday, June 26th, 2018. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 3rd, 1949 to Gordon & Gladys (Winters) Huebner. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in action. He married the former Peggy Mason on April 28th, 2012. Mark had been employed as a Marine Mechanic throughout the years. His pastimes included camping, motorcycling, hunting and playing the drums where he earned the nickname of "Thumper". Mark enjoyed traveling, whether it was boating down Lake Michigan or taking the motorcycle out for a drive. Mark also took joy in the drinks and (deep) conversation with good friends at the North Kent Eagles of Sparta. SURVIVORS Wife, Peggy; daughters, Trisha (Brian) Cooper, Denise (Terry) Sabo, Wendy (Russ) White; grandchildren, Ryan Holman, Wade Holman, Kyle (Laura) Holman, Taylor Cooper, Aubree Mitchell, Garret Mitchell, Sadi White, Avery White, Clarissa White; 8 great-grandchildren; mother, Gladys Huebner; brother, Larry (Diane) Huebner; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon R. Huebner. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior at Clock Funeral Home - 1469 Peck St., Muskegon. Luncheon immediately following Marks Celebration of Life. Military Honors under the auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans.
