Mark Allen Hudd

Mark Allen Hudd, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2026. He was born on March 13, 1970, in Grand Haven, Michigan, the son of Charles and Christine (Zimonick) Hudd.

On July 6, 1991, he married Kristine (Bosma) Hudd, and together they were blessed with one son, Mark Allen Hudd Jr.

Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time in the woods and on the water. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of hunting with those he loved and spent countless hours fishing with his favorite fishing buddies-his grandchildren.

Through years of hard work and determination, Mark built a home he was proud of and poured his heart into the surrounding property. He found peace and purpose spending hours on his tractor, whether preparing for hunting season or clearing brush; he took great pride in transforming the woods until everything was "just right".

Mark is survived by his wife, Kristine, his son, Mark Hudd Jr. (Brittany); his grandchildren, Levi and Ella Hudd, Braydon Veenstra, and Chevelle White; his mother, Christine Hudd; his sisters, Carla (Jeremy) Hower and Charlene (Tony) Johnson; his nephews, Christian and Hayden Hower and Layton Johnson; his niece, Sydney Hower; as well as many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hudd; his grandparents, George and Catherine Grimm and Martin and Ruth Jean Zimonick; and several special aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Blue Lake Community Church, 10981 Blue Lake Road, Holton, Michigan 49425. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
