Mr Mark Anthony Gomez Sr., age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on November 7, 1963, to Joseph & Dorothy (Dutcher) Gomez and graduated from Whitehall High School in 1982 where he played football, wrestled and ran track. Mark had been employed as a Tool and Die maker for FST Tool & Machinery, Tru-Tech and several other area shops and was a former member at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with family and threw many big parties in the backyard of the house he built in 1993. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mother, Dorothy Gomez; Children, Samantha (Robert Daniel) Gomez of Ohio, Mark (Jamie Flermoen) Gomez, Joseph Hall, Brandie (Chad) Simpson; grandchildren, Ryan, Aiden, Riley, Hailey, Josef, Blake, Ian, Merissa, Nathanael, Jayna, Oaklee, Oliver, and Blake; Best Friend Mark R. Bowen; siblings, Dorothy (Eddie) Watts, Joseph "Danny" (Jan) Gomez Jr., Scott Gomez, Angel (Termaine) Johnson, Nancy (Doug) Brewer. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, a brother Richard and a sister Frances "Diane"

SERVICE

A graveside service will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Dalton Township at 2pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
