Mark Allen Davis, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, December 15, 2023. Mark was born on April 28, 1957 to Leo "Tom" and Joyce Davis of Muskegon, Ml and they preceded him in death. He graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School in 1976 and lived in Muskegon his entire life.

Mark worked as a machine repairman at Automatic Springs which was a perfect fit for him because he loved to fix things. He was always happiest when he was outside fixing or "tinkering" with something. It was often acknowledged that if it had an engine, Mark could fix it.

Mark didn't attend church on a regular basis but he was a devout Christian. He was always willing to volunteer for church events, especially if it was a children's event. He loved all of the kids at church and they all loved him.

Mark had always told Mary that God told him to marry her and she thanked God for his wise decision for over 47 years. He was a wonderful husband to Mary and the best father, fishing buddy, and friend to his son Matt.

SURVIVORS

He is survived by his wife Mary, his son Matthew, his siblings Mike Bailey (Shirley), Pam Doss, Cheryl Cholcher (Jack), Lisa Andre, and his sister-in-law and good friend, Rita Davis. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Katherine (Katie) Davis, his nephew Christopher (Kado) Davis, and his brother Don Davis.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

Friday, December 22, 2023, 11:00 AM at Samuel Lutheran Church. Interment in Fruitland Township Cemetery.
