Marjorie Rutherford

Marjorie Rutherford, Age 85, died April, 1, 2008, in Muskegon, MI. She was born December 12, 1922 in Kalamazoo, MI, a daughter of Ray and Harriet Lum. In July of 1951, Marjorie was united in marriage with Donald Rutherford who preceded her in death on November 26, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother Harry Lum and a sister Helen Massey. Marjorie is survived by a son Dr. Donald (Jean) Rutherford, Jr., of Grand Haven; a granddaughter Katherine Victoria Rutherford of Grand Haven; a brother George Lum of Kalamazoo and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday morning at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., Portage, MI with the Rev. Jim Dyke officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery will follow services. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Portage Chapel.
