Marjorie Kooiman

Mrs. Marjorie N. Kooiman, age 95, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012. She was born in Muskegon, MI on June 12, 1916 to Jacob & Mabel (Searer) Tazelaar and married Leonard Kooiman on June 9, 1939. Mrs. Kooiman had been an artist who owned Kooiman Photography with her husband. She attended Berean Church and was active in the Muskegon Woman's Club as Past-President, Vice President & Secretary. SURVIVORS Son, Ken (Carolyn) Kooiman of New Era; grandchildren, Christine Kooiman, Tim (Laura) Kooiman, Leanne (Gary Wendt) Feldpausch; great grandchildren, David, Michael, Robert, Thomas & Andrea; sister, Esther (Don) Schultz of Muskegon; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard in 2002. SERVICE Thursday, March 15, 2012, 2:00 PM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Dick Klaver officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 6-8 PM and Thursday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Food & More-Ferry Memorial Reformed Church.
