Mrs. Hill, age 90, died March 24, 2007. Born March 31, 1916, in Battle Creek, to Carl and Frieda (Rhode) Schnebelt, she had lived in the White Lake area since 1943. On June 11, 1943, in Fargo, North Dakota, she married Richard E. Hill, who preceded her in death in 1997, and had been a homemaker all her life. Mrs. Hill was a member of St. James Catholic Church and offered 20 plus years of service to the Boy Scouts of America, as a Den Leader, as well as a Den Leader Coach, for which she was awarded the Scouting Oscar for her service. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marquerite Myers. FAMILY: 5 children, Thomas (Nancy) Hill of Ark, VA, Michael Hill of Whitehall, Patrick (Patti) Hill of Jenison, Ann (David) Nettleton of Pawcatuck, CT and Mark (Joann) Hill of Montague; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Louise (Dr. Lowell) Beach. FUNERAL LITURGY: Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at 10:00 AM, from St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Phil Witkowski presiding. Interment will be made in Mt. Calvary Cemetery - Montague.
