Marion Godshalk

Mrs. Marion E. Godshalk, age 88, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007. She was born on June 18, 1918 in Grand Rapids, MI to Martin and Martha (Dutmers) Boonman. Marion married Robert Godshalk on June 25, 1955 and he died on February 28, 1991. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and upon its closing, became a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Marion also was a lifetime member of the Miraculous Medal Society. Survivors are her sister, Marie (Eldon) Butler of Grand Rapids, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and darling infant daughter, Mary Ellen. The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 10am, Monday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be made in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Comstock Park, MI. Visitation hours will be on Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8pm, at the Pachesney-Jend Funeral Home, where Rosary will be prayed at 3pm. Visitation is Monday at the church one hour prior to service.
