Marion Lynda Bigge

Marion L. Bigge, age 80, passed away Monday evening, July 15, 2024, with her family at her side, at SKLD nursing home in Grand Rapids under the care of Hospice Michigan.

She was born July 14, 1944, to Loumen and Florence (Thurlow) Lepire in Detroit, Michigan. Marion worked for Hackley Hospital after graduating from North Muskegon High School in 1962 until her retirement in 2006.

On October 18, 1975, she married Jerome Bigge in Muskegon, Michigan. For many years they made an annual trip to the City of Mackinaw, weekly trips out to Lake Michigan near home, always with a stop for ice cream. Her children were her many Boston Terriers they owned over the years. She loved her visits from her nephews, nieces, and great nieces. They brought joy to her day.

Survivors include her husband Jerome, a step brother Harry McKinley of Muskegon, a step sister Sue (Keith) Dingler of Dowagiac, nephews eric Stovern of Dowagiac, Scott Stovern of Albany NY, Davis McKinley of Williamsburg, VA, step nephew Brian Dingler, South Bend, IN, niece Debra (mike) Thonmpson of Mesa, AZ, step niece Desiree Hullinger, Buchanan, MI, and several cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louman and Florence, and step mother Helen (McKinley) Lepire. Marion was blessed with two special mothers during her lifetime. She was also preceded in death buy her sister-i-law Nancy McKinley, niece Diane McKinley, great nephew Richard Siebach, step-niece Darla Diaz, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
