Marilyn Parker

Ms. Marilyn L. Parker, age 76, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 20, 2009. She was born in Whitehall, MI on April 11, 1933 to Peter & Phoebe (Smith) Brooks. Ms. Parker had retired as a Manager at West Michigan Steel Credit Union. She attended Forest Park Covenant Church and loved to crochet. Marilyn was known for her chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, oatmeal cake and everyone loved her Kool-Aid. She will be dearly missed. SURVIVORS Sons, Randy (Carolyn) & their children, Anthony , Amanda, Alexandria & Andre Parker, David (Debra) & their children, Devin, Derek, Desirae Parker; daughters, Debra (James) Blackwell, Mari Bessinger & her children, John & Michael Gallegos, Gayle (Stan) Larson; sisters, Elaine Borgeson, Bonnie Brooks, Beverly (Norman) Durham; special friend of over 50 years, Jackie Witkowski; & beloved cat, Charcoal. She was preceded in death by her parents & sisters, Ruth, Helen, & Barbara. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, September 25, 2009, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Russ Carlson officiating. VISITATION Friday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
