Marilyn "Peanut" Jacobson

Mrs. Marilyn A. Jacobson, age 85, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. She was born in Muskegon, MI on July 11, 1927 to Arthur & Anna (Andree) Olsen and married Donald Jacobson on November 5, 1955. Mrs. Jacobson had been a loving homemaker who enjoyed cooking, canning and baking. She loved going to the channel walking the pier and watching the boats, and was a devoted Detroit Tigers and Green Bay Packer fan. SURVIVORS Sons, Paul (Gretchen) Jacobson of Whitehall, David (Kathy) Jacobson of Muskegon, Jeff Jacobson of Interlochen; daughter, Judy (Gregory) Nauta of Muskegon; grandchildren, Alyssa, Adam, Jennifer, Derek, Elizabeth, Emily, Kris (Kelly), Travis, Heidi; great grandchild, Kolton; sister, Beverly (Herm) Cook of N. Muskegon; sister-in-law, Shirley Wickland of N. Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1999; parents; sister, Betty & John Gwatkin. GRAVESIDE SERVICE A family graveside service will be held at Laketon Township Cemetery. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. MEMORIAL: Mercy VNS & Hospice.
