Marilyn Goldberg

Mrs. Marilyn A. Goldberg, age 74, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 27, 2010. She was born in Muskegon, MI on October 3, 1935 to Maurice & Jeanette (Snowfleet) Yonkers and married David Goldberg Jr. on November 4, 1955 in Muskegon. Marilyn had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Muskegon Vikings Lodge and avid reader who enjoyed music, the sun, cooking, & shopping. Above all Marilyn loved spending time with Harold and her family. SURVIVORS Daughters, Kathy (Karl) Anderson of MN, Shelley (Dan) Burns of Norton Shores; granddaughters, Holli (Jay) Sweetland, Jennifer Anderson, Betsy (Darin) Faber; longtime companion, Harold Kirk of Norton Shores; aunt, Anne Borgman of Grand Haven. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Jr. in 1985. SERVICE Saturday, May 1, 2010, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Eric Stratton officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Lions Club.
