BENTON, MRS. MARILYN DOROTHY Muskegon Mrs. Marilyn D. Benton, age 77, died Saturday, December 9, 2006. She was born in Muskegon on October 7, 1929 to LaVern & Elizabeth (Stemley) Edick and married Richard Benton on September 1, 1948. Mrs. Benton had been employed as a Clerk at Mona Shores Public Schools for 25 years. She was a member of the Elkettes Lodge #274. SURVIVORS 4 sons, Gregory Benton, Richard D. (Kathi) Benton, both of Muskegon, Michael Benton of Orlando, FL, Steven Benton of Champaign, IL; 2 daughters, Lynn (Kenneth) McQueen of Gary, IN, Pat Benton of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Erin, Kelsea, Joseph, Alex; sister-in-law, Kathryn Gard of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1998. SERVICE There will be no services. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
