Marie M. Radikopf

RADIKOPF, MRS. MARIE, M. Mrs. Marie M. Radikopf, age 88, of Grand Haven Township, died Saturday, July 30. 2005 and went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord. She was born May 21, 1917 in Grand Rapids, MI to John R. and Rose Hancq Ott. Marie and Harold P.C. Radikopf, a former Fire Chief of Grand Haven Twp., were married on Oct. 9, 1937 in Grand Haven Twp. They celebrated 56 years of marriage until the time of Harolds death on December 31, 1993. Mrs. Marie Radikopf was a life-long resident of Grand Haven Twp. and also a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Grand Haven where she was a former Sunday School teacher. SURVIVORS Her loving children; 2 daughters, Judith Essenyi of West Olive, MI and Cherryl James Potter of Grand Rapids, MI; 3 sons, Ronald Marilyn Radikopf of FL, Mark Radikopf of Grand Haven, MI and Brian Barbara Radikopf of West Olive, MI; 9 grandchildren, Greg, Scott, Ryan and Tiffany Radikopf, Keith and Kris Essenyi, James, Jr. and Matthew Potter and Jacob Radikopf; 1 great-grandson, Ronald Radikopf; 1 sister, Ida Peters of Grand Haven, MI and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband , she was preceded in death by an infant son Harold Radikopf, Jr. and by a sister, Clara Francik. SERVICE Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 2 pm at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Grand Haven with Rev. Dieter E. Haupt officiating. Interment has taken place at Grand Haven Twp. Historic Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-2 pm at St Johns Lutheran Church. Memorials : St Johns Lutheran Church or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
