Marie Pothoff

Pothoff, Mrs. Marie Muskegon, Michigan Mrs. Marie Pothoff, age 98, entered her heavenly home on Monday, April 13, 2020. She was born in Muskegon, MI on November 20, 1921 to Harry & Gertrude (Rockel) Hewitt and married Richard (Rip) Pothoff on March 22, 1941. Mrs. Pothoff had been employed as a bank teller and branch manager for Comerica Bank. Mrs. Pothoff enjoyed being with her family, singing in her church choir and with her sister Norma, and was a never-miss-a-game Muskegon Mohawks hockey fan. Mrs. Pothoff was an active and faithful member of Unity United Methodist Church. SURVIVORS Son, Daniel (Rhonda) Pothoff; daughters-in-law, Norine Pothoff and Janis Pothoff; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Bill Hewitt (Dianne Corr); sister-in-law, Eleanor Hewitt and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pothoff was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, siblings Harry Hewitt and Norma Agard, and 3 of her 4 children: Jeanne Pothoff, Richard Pothoff, and Harry Pothoff. SERVICE Private family services will be held. A fellowship gathering in honor of Mrs. Pothoff's memory will be held at a later date. Internment in Mona View Cemetery.
