Marie I. Nuff

Marie I. Neff NEFF, MRS. MARIE I. Widow of John C. Muskegon Mrs. Marie I. Neff, age 80, passed away Wednesday evening, February 1, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born August 26, 1925 in Cadillac, and lived almost all of her life in the Muskegon area where she worked for a short time at Muskegon Piston Ring. The former Marie Peterson married John C. Neff on August 28, 1948. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1992. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Charles (Jane) Neff; 2 daughters, Rose (Robert) Sturgis and Nancy Martin; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Judith Mae (Jack) Doan; 4 nieces, 1 nephew. She was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Becky and Michael Martin; 1 brother, George Peterson; and her parents, Charles and Dorothea (Torndlom) Peterson. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at Egelston Township Cemetery on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Jayne A. Yonkman officiating. There will be no visitation. A luncheon will be held at Egelston Township Hall, 5428 E. Apple Ave. directly following the graveside service. Marie's family requested that any floral arrangements in her memory be sent to University Park Living Center for the staff and residents to enjoy. Memorial contributions may also be sent to University Park Living Center in memory of Marie Neff.
