Marie Elizabeth Mcmillan

Mrs. Marie Elizabeth McMillan, age 88, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007 at home. She was born February 25, 1919 in Muskegon to the late Peter and Mae (Bisson) Kartes. Marie was a Past President of Hartford Terrace Association and was a member of Pulaski Lodge. She had worked as a waitress at Doo Drop Inn for ten years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton, in 1986; and three brothers: George, William and Raymond Kartes. Surviving are her children: Milton (Sandra) McMillan, Judy Swanson, Marjorie (Roger) Truszkowski, James (Norma ) McMillan, Donald McMillan; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Clara Kartes and Maxine Kartes; and special friend, Fred Mayo. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel of the Chimes, 2188 Remembrance Drive, Muskegon.
