Marie Haken

Mrs. Edna "Marie" Haken, age 96, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013. She was born in Blue Rock, OH on October 19, 1917 to James & Anna (Young) Gibson and married Ralph Haken in 1959. Mrs. Haken had been employed as a Clerk at Jane Lee Clothing & Arjers for years. She was a member of Berean Church and loving wife who took care of her husband and animals and loved to travel. SURVIVORS Nieces, Rose (Robert) James of Franklin, OH, Margi (David) Godby of Zanesville, OH, Polly McBride of Zanesville, OH, Carolyn Mahon of Muskegon; stepdaughter, Carrie Cleaver of Niles, IL; step-grandchildren, Jon Cleaver of IL, Kenneth (Amy) Cleaver of VA, Carolyn Knuckles of VA; many great step-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Effie Johnson of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Elinor Achauer & Ruth Anna Mahon; nieces, Linda Steer & Janet Jordan; nephew, Phil Mahon; step sons, George Cleaver & Carl Cleaver. SERVICE Saturday, January 4, 2014, 11:00 AM and visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Craig Apel officiating. Interment at New Era Cemetery.
