Marie Elizabeth Cartledge

CARTLEDGE, MRS. MARIE ELIZABETH West Olive, MI Marie Elizabeth Cartledge, age 42, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at North Ottawa Community Hospital after a valiant battle against cancer. She was born on October 22, 1960 to Melvin & Barbara Erckman Pietron in Livonia, MI & married Richard Cartledge on May 20, 1989 in Novi, MI. Mrs. Cartledge was a graduate of Western Michigan University & had been an Assistant Vice President of Michigan National Bank in Novi, MI & for the last 3 years she was a Senior Sales Trainer for Haworth Corp. in Holland, MI. She was a member of Haven Shores Community Church, was an avid reader, gardener & crafter. She played the violin & was a wolf preservation activist. Mrs. Cartledge had her lifetime wish of swimming with the Dolphins at Discovery Cove in FL this past year. Survivors: Husband, Richard; mother, Barbara Pietron of Novi, MI; stepson, Brian Goode of West Olive, MI; daughter, Jamie Lynne Cartledge of Grand Haven, MI; sister Laura Brian Mann of Palm Bay, FL; brother, Daniel Gina Pietron of Farmington Hills, MI; 4 nephews, Ken Kolke, Evan Mann, Andrew Mann & Emmanuelle Frowner. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Pietron on January 8, 2003. Memorial Service: Friday, July 18, 2003, 7:00 PM at Haven Shores Community Church, 9608 Hiawatha, West Olive, MI with Pastor David Bailey officiating.
