Marie C. Bright

BRIGHT, MRS. MARIE C. Muskegon Mrs. Marie C. Bright, age 96, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004. She was born in Nashville, TN on June 14, 1908 to Robert Edward & Mary Ellen Busby Crawley. Mrs. Bright attended Fisk University & Tennessee State. She received her Masters degree from Wayne State University in Home & Family Living & was a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She had been employed as a Teacher at Inkster School District for over 30 years. Mrs. Bright had been married to William Bright & he preceded her in death. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Inkster, MI where she was on the Board of Trustees. Mrs. Bright was also on the YWCA Board of Directors in Inkster, MI. SURVIVORS 1 daughter, Marian L. Rev. Charles Poole of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Ellen Johnny Griffin, Charles Karen Poole Jr. & Carla Paul Moffett; 10 great grandchildren.
