Marie Bollenbacher

Mrs. Marie Bessie Bollenbacher, age 98, died Tuesday evening, May 22, 2007. She was born July 11, 1908 in Fremont, MI to Wallace and Bessie (Bell) Herington. Mrs. Bollenbacher was an avid artist and enjoyed to travel with family and friends. On June 4, 1932, she married Harley D. Bollenbacher in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on August 1, 2005. She is survived by her son, Harley R. "Bob" (Carol) Bollenbacher of Muskegon; grandchildren, Steven Bollenbacher, Michael (Patricia) Bollenbacher, Juli LaPres, Kurt (Pam) Bollenbacher, Lori (Rick) Johnson, Cindy (Don) Janowiak; 15 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers, Denise Rebedew and Diane Klug. She was also preceded in death by a son, Harold Lawrence "Larry" Bollenbacher and three sisters, Ruth, Tress, and Flossie. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Friday at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. There will be no visitation. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
