Marianne Nason

Mrs. Marianne T. Nason, passed away on Ash Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Mercy Health Partners-Mercy Campus. She was born in Erie, PA to Michael & Delia (Pasquelicco) DiPlacido and married Jack F. Nason on May 18, 1973. Mrs. Nason had been employed as an instructor at GTE for 15 years. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Marianne was a great inspiration to others as she never let her illness set the boundary for her life's activities. Much of her life she served as a caretaker for others, with special focus on her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed golf, quilting and fishing. SURVIVORS Husband of 37 years, Jack; daughters, Missy (John) Ferreura of Muskegon, Brooke (William) O'Donnell of TX; grandchildren, Faith & Mia Ferreura, Taylor, Ian & Tessa O'Donnell; sisters, Janice Sweeney, Carolyn DiPlacido; brother Bart (Mona) DiPlacido all of PA; aunt, Marie Elsesser of PA; several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday, March 14, 2011, 10:00 AM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church with Pastor Julie Winklepleck officiating.
